Captain James C. Goodhart is a Coast Guard licensed captain and a member of the American Saltwater Guides Association and the Northeast Charter Boat Captains Association. He is also a member of the Plum Island Surfcasters and Trout Unlimited. This Newburyport fishing guide has a passion for fly fishing, which he began at an early age . Captain James hand ties the bulk of the flies used on his charters and has developed a number of sand eel and baitfish patterns that are particularly effective.
